Full Interior Design Service

At Gabi Da Rocha Interiors we are passionate about helping our clients realise the full potential of their home. 

We'll help you create a fresh, original design that complements your space, budget, needs and wishlist. Our practical, relaxed and friendly approach means we create a very personal service.

Whether it's through a full redesign or simply a few expert changes, by assessing and revising the current layout of your home, we’ll help you create the perfect solution for your lifestyle. We work to and, within any existing restrictions, to produce a striking result.

Building or renovating can be stressful and time consuming, so why not let us act as your liaison between architects, builders and specialist contractors advising and supporting  you throughout the project.

As well as sourcing materials we have a team of skilled craftsmen who help us deliver projects to the highest standards, on time and on budget, as well as helping us create bespoke pieces, so that we can offer our clients something that is truly unique and individual.

With over 20 years of interior design expertise and being a Registered Designer with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) (which means that we have met the national professional standards for interior design and have to abide to the BIID’s strict code of conduct), you can be sure you're in safe hands.

To give you peace of mind that your beautiful results haven't come at too high a cost, we also share  some of our trade discounts with you.


Two and 5 Hour Design Consultations

We understand that changing your home can feel daunting and stressful, so why not get us to help you? This can also be useful if you are looking to sell or rent  your property and need a quick face-lift. 

We provide a two hour design consultations.

Get in touch with us to make an appointment. We require photos of your room, your wishlist and your budget ahead of our meeting, to enable us to prepare for your project.

We will look at your lifestyle, ideas, and price range and recommend changes that you can make to give your room a new look. 

You will lhave a rough hand drawn furniture layout that we have discussed together, ideas for colour schemes, paint and fabric samples for soft furnishings as well as recommendations on where to source items.

We would also be happy to recommend our tried and trusted skilled curtain makers, upholsterers, and cabinet makers.

Our 5 hour Consultation includes a visit to the property, followed by a meeting at our studio where we’ll discuss the project further and provide the same information as our 2 hr consultation above.


Extra Services

Interior Design for House Sales  - Just as the Two Hour Design Consultation, we can either see you with photographs of your property in our office or visit you on site to give advice and ideas. This is to help give your room a 'face-lift' and make it look more alluring to prospective buyers.

Interior Design for Rentals or Airbnb - As above we can help you turn your rental property into a more attractive space for your tenants.

Sourcing - Our address book is full of suppliers and showrooms, we can find you antique or contemporary furniture to suit your home, and we share our trade accounts with you.

Made-to-Measure Curtains, Upholstery and Joinery - We have tried and trusted tradesmen that can make you a perfect bespoke item.

Bespoke Pieces - When creating a bespoke piece our tradesmen need working drawings, once we have discussed the brief and get the drawings approved by you the item will then go into production.

Stage 1

Preliminary Phase

Our initial meeting and briefing allows us to get to know the client, and for us to evaluate their requirements, likes and dislikes, all of which is vital in building a trusting relationship where we understand what they are trying to create.

The design process is divided into 5 stages: Preliminary Phase, Concept Design, Design and Development, Construction, Furniture, Fittings and Equipment (FF&E) and finally the Dressing of the Room.

Following the initial meeting we require another site visit to take measurements. photographs for reference and to discuss, develop and agree the brief and the furnishing requirements, which is then proceeded by the appointment of works.

We will supply the client with a written design brief that must be agreed by both parties before any work commences.

This will guarantee the smooth running of the project with our pre-design research and assessment.

Stage 2

Design Concept

At this stage the furniture layouts and design ideas are presented and cost options discussed with the clients.

Once the above is agreed we then move onto stage 3.

Stage 3

Design Development

Digital moodboards and colour schemes are explored showing different range of fabrics, lighting and furniture, product samples such as paint colours, wall coverings, flooring, fabrics and sample mood boards (if required) are provided for consideration.This stage allows for design refinements and developments following the client's feedback.

At this point is where a 3D drawing could be commissioned and agreement to brief technical drawings are made.

Stage 4

Construction

We brief and liaise with the building team, project manager or decorators, supplying a detailed specification for each room, supported by a few more site visits.This is the building works phase and where all furnishings and material orders are placed.

We ensure that all the ordering of fabrics, paints, tiles, flooring and furnishings etc. are made and that their delivery dates are convenient to our clients or builders.

All materials are supplied at competitive prices.

Stage 5

FF&E and Dressing

The final stage is the supply of furniture, fixtures and equipment. This is the exciting stage where the property finally comes to life and where we dress the property and transform it into a home.
